How they got their gem: She found the gem near her house and put it onto a chain. then she put it on her neck. It burned into her skin and settled there.

How they got their gem: She was sitting by a lake, relaxing, when she spotted something glowing in the grass. She picked it up and noticed it was like a tear-drop. She held it in one hand and, admiring its beauty, traced her finger around it, then it sank down into her skin.
Gem shape: Tear-drop
Background: She's an art student. Lives in a dorm at the college. Looking for love♥ XD
Powers: Water and 'universal powers' (dunno what to call them; she can make portals and move between dimensions and can make black holes and stars and such- but it takes a enormous amout of energy to make these and making them could kill her)

How they got their gem: She was tending her garden, when she appeared before her fountain and found there was a green gem resembling a green leave flowing above it. She eventually caught it, she accidentually swallowed it. She tried to get it back out, but in wouldn't.
Gem shape: green rose
Background: A quiet girl that loves plants and nature. Though she can act without thinking sometimes.
Powers: ability to control plants/vines from the ground

Ok so we are going to start with everyone explaining the day that they got their Gem. And the shape of the gem. You will be slowly getting your powers so we won't mention them just yet.

Selene was walking home from school and stopped to stare at the sky. It was a deep purple because it was almost night. It was all Hallows Eve and she couldn't wait to get home. As she got closer to home she heard a noise. It was like none she'd ever heard. It was a loud and ear shattering crash that vibrated in her ears. She ran towards her house and screamed. It was in ruins and in its place was a big gaping hole. Her mother had probably been inside when whatever had happened happened. She ran to the crater and saw a bright looking clear gem shaped like a crescent moon. "A moonstone!" she thought. With her makeshift skills she put it on a chain she had and put it around her neck. She started to feel weird and looked down to where the moonstone had been and on her chest above her bustage was a moonshaped tatoo that changed color when she moved.

Fiorella stepped outside to her garden. It was morning and the sunlight was shimmering against the dew drops on the magnificent flowers. The garden had always been her favorite place, she had always tend it since she was a little girl. The scent of roses mixed with a dash of Lavender was her favorite. Then, something caught her eye at the water fountain. On top of the fountain was nothing like Fiorella had seen before. It was a magnificent shimmering green gem that resembled a rose. Without thinking, Fiorella intended to get it. But just as she was an inch away from the gem, it flew down. Fiorella climb down from the water fountain and chased after the gem. Again, it got away just as she was inches away from it.

Eventually, she caught it, after running around it her garden for five times, crawling and climbing almost every bit of her garden. When she finally caught it, she was determinded to not let it go this time. In order to make sure she'd got it, she swallowed the gem without giving it another thought! Now that Fiorella realized what she had done, she tried to throw it back up. Too late. It had already dissolved inside her! Just then, her older brother called to her for school. She decided to let the matter past for now. Plus, surprisingly, she didn't feel any different afterwards. With that, she went off to school.

Marilla walked down through the lush grass and when she finally reached the lake at the edge of her parent's land she kicked off her shoes and sat down in her favourite spot, with her feet in the cool water.
She dropped her sketchpad beside her, she'd practice later. For now she could relax, it was finally summer.
She spotted something glowing in the grass. She got up and walked towards it.
She picked it up and inspected it. If she was asked to describe it she would of said that it was surrounded in a heavenly glow of bright light rather then saying it glowed. She would of also said that it resembled a tear-drop.
She put it in the palm of her right hand and admired it's beauty, tracing a finger around it. Then she felt like the world was in slow motion and the tear-shaped gem began to fade.
She watched it in awe and by the time she realised it was sinking into her skind it was too late, it was gone.
She twisted her hand, looking for it and noticed an almost silver shade of blue tattoo, shaped like a tear-drop, at the back of her right hand.

Yes go ahead. Miki. you forgot to put where your gem tatoo is. You have to have one... sorry I should have said that earlier. Feather it is ok that you got carried away. I do that sometimes.

Selene went to bed and the next morning when she woke up the tatoo was still there. "So it wasn't a dream." Selene said out loud. She got up and went downstairs to have breakfast. WHen she was done she left for school. She walked there and she was running late. So she ran as fast as she could to the school. She was still not going to get there on time. So she tried to get herself there faster. Her tatoo started to feel like it was on fire. She looked at it and it was glowing. Then a gust of wind came and she started flying. She couldn't put it any other way. She was just going fast all of the sudden and she was a little bit off of the ground. When she reached the school on time she slowed down and the pain stopped. When she got into class she really tried to write it off as if it had been nothing, but she couldn't. What had happened and what was this gem that she had tatooed on her body? She couldn't wrap her mind around an answer.

After hours of lying in bed, trying to sleep Marilla gave up. She hopped out of bed and got changed. It was half five. Glancing at her hand she realised the tattoo was still there.
She picked up her sketchpad and flicked to the last drawing she drew.
It was a sketch of a small meteor colliding with a house, it was eerily realistic. She had drawn it after she found the gem, she was running home when the image popped into her head.
Deciding to work on her art she picked up a small container that had water colours in it and minutes later she was at her desk painting.
"I hate not being able to sleep," she grumbled.
She rested her head on her hand and accidently knocked over the jug of water. Alarmed, she stood up, She noticed the water running down the desk towards her painting, panicking she tried to push the water away with her hand.
And to her shock the water followed the sweeping motion of her hand andflew into the air before hitting the wall.
Marilla stared in shock at the water trickling down the wall. Her hand started to sting where the tatto was, as if it was on fire. She fell to the ground and found that she was crying with the pain. "What's going on?" she gasped.

Fiorella ran into her room and banged the door shut when she got home from school. She sat beside her mirror and examined herself. What she saw almost made her fall out of her chair. On her neck, just under her right collar-bone, was a mysterious tattoo with a rose. Fiorella was certain that she'd never had a before in her life, it must had appeared after the gem incident. Then, she heard a loud bark. She ran to her window, only to see an enormous German Shepherd to be crashing into her garden from her neighbor and growling fiercely at Fiorella's whimpering cat.

The German Shepherd had never liked and thus cared for Fiorella's cat too much. Occasionally, he would bark at the cat, but never intruding Fiorella's garden because of his hatred. Then, Fiorella noticed that their was something different in his eyes. It was rage and hatred, like a wild beast. Something had driven it crazy. The German Shepherd suddenly sprang towards the cat. The cat fled, but Fiorella knew that it would only be moments before the vicious animal kill the cat. The cat was cornered now."Stop," Fiorella whispered. "Please stop!" She said more loudly and ran before the cat with her hands spread out to protect the frightened cat. "Please!" Fiorella yelled.

Then, what happened next would leave Fiorella clueless for the longest time. Fiorella first felt a stab of pain in her tattoo before it came. Then she saw vines. Vines with thorns were budging out from the ground. They twisted and tightened around the dog until the dog was whimpering and the hatred in the dog became fear. And, as if Fiorella had just realized what she did, she let out a deep breath and the vines began to go back to the ground. Slowly, too, the pain was going away. The dog whimpered one last time and ran away.

Fiorella collapsed on the ground and fear began to stir inside her. Not fear of the dog nor vines. but fear of herself. "Viti," Fiorella whispered. It was Italian for "Vines". The cat rubbed its head on Fiorella as the frightened girl traced along the tattoo with her hand.

I see that. I like it! It's good. We can keep posting things and once we actually realize that our powers are real and that the cause is the gem/tatoos we will be gathered together or something like that.

After a while in class Selene started getting really sleepy. She couldn't understand why, but eventually she fell asleep. She woke to the sound of her teacher yelling at her, "Wake up Selene!" When Selene woke up she was very embarassed tto realize that she had fallen asleep in class. "Tut mir leid." Selen said to the teacher. (That means I'm sorry.) The rest of the class was laughing and Selene just wanted to be anywhere, but where she was. "Entschuldigung." Selene said, "Moechte eine toilette gehen bitte." (Excuse me. May I please go to the bathroom.) "Sure." The teacher said. Selene ran into the bathroom to clear he head. 'What the heck is going on?' Selene thought, 'I've never once fallen asleep in class before!' She was getting really mad and upset. Her emotions getting the best of her and she punched the mirror in the bathroom. Blood poured out of her hand as she pulled her fist from the mirror. "Ouch!" She said. She went out of the bathroom and ran to the nurse's office to get it looked at. It was bleeding really badly. "What happened Selene?" The nurse asked as Selene walked in with her bleeding hand. "I puched a mirror..." Selene said blushing. She was embarassed that she did that out of shear anger. "Well let me take a look at it. I have to see if there is any glass still in the wound." The nurse said. Sure enough there was still glass in it. The nurse carefully pulled the glass out and wrapped Selene's hand in gauze. "It should be fine now." The nurse said. "Thank you." Selene said and hurried out of the room.
When Selene got home from school she decided to remove the bandage to change it. When she took it off there was nothing there. Only a thin line that was where the glass had been. "I'm going CRAZY!" Selene said. She really couldn't figure out what was going on.

"Hi Colette," Marilla greeted her childhood friend when she entered her favorite cafe.
"Marilla! How are you? How's college?" Colette asked her as Marilla sat down.
"I'm fine. College is really tiring, I'm glad it's summer," she replied, "and how are you?"
As they talked the waitress came with their cakes and drinks.
When Marilla went to take a drink Colette noticed her tattoo.
"You got a tattoo?" Colette asked.
"Not exactly!" Marilla said as she swept her hand out of sight, behind her back. The glass of water shot off their table, following the sweeping motion of her hand. And her right hand started burning.
"Again!" Marilla gasped, clutching her hand.
Colette was trying to figure out what happened to the glass of water when Marilla stood up and excused herself.
